Asteroid fireball to be visible in Sudan!

I came across this noteworthy item about a just discovered asteroid that will be hitting the Earth’s atmosphere on 10/7 somewhere over Sudan, and should be a quite spectacular fireball. I wish I were in a position to view this event as it sounds pretty cool, fleeting though it may be.

Here are some pics from my annual Wis River excursion. I’ve been doing this with a small gang of guys for 19 years running (I’m the longest continuous member). Of course I’m not in any of these photos, I’m the one with the camera. That’s OK because I generally hate to get my pic taken.
